Russia may increase oil sales to Europe

Russia may increase exports of oil to the European Union to compensate for the deficit caused by the embargo on Iran, Russian Deputy Minister for Energy Anatoly Yanovsky said on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.

The increase of exports will depend on capabilities of refineries to switch from Iranian to other oil, on transport systems and increase of extraction. Statistics will be studied in a few months.
