The leader of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, has appointed Eldar Salpagarov, head of the Presidential Administration and government of Karachay-Cherkessia, as chief of the commission for adaption of surrendered militants, Yuga.ru reports.
The commission will hold consultations and will cooperate with law enforcers, and public and religious associations. It will make proposals on the prevention of terrorism and extremism.
Such commissions are already operating in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia.
