Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the government to develop a simplified visa regime for tourists by June 1, RIA Novosti reports.
The president made orders at a council on development of tourism in the North Caucasus on March 11, 2012.
He also ordered preparation of proposals on formation of a tourism and reaction facilities in the special economic zone of the Adler District in Sochi for further use during the Olympic Games in 2014.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was appointed as supervisor of the process.
