Turkey and Iran disagree on the Syrian crisis, Trend cites Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on an official visit to Tehran, as saying on Thursday.
"Following the meetings in Tehran one can say that Turkey and Iran's views on the Syrian issue are different," Erdogan said.
Minister Erdogan began his visit to Iran on Wednesday. He met with Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi and the country's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Meeting with the President was held behind closed doors and its details are unknown yet.
Earlier, Syrian authorities accepted Kofi Annan's proposed plan to resolve the crisis in the country. The UN Security Council unanimously adopted a statement expressing "full support" to Annan's proposals on March 21.
