Continuing inter-ethnic clashes in the south of Kyrgyzstan have taken
the lives of 114 people, Interfax reports, citing the Kyrgyz Ministry
for Health.
"Some 114 people were killed in riots, which took place in the Oshsk
and Djalalabad regions - most of them died after being hospitalized,"
a source in the ministry said.
More than 1400 people have sought medical assistance from June 11 -
754 of them have been hospitalized.
