Orazumyrat Gurbannazarov has become the Turkmen Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (Abu-Dhabi), appointed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Trend reports.
Foreign Minister of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Ashkhabad in late November. He met President Berdimuhamedov and said that the UAE is interested in dialogue with the country.
The two states cooperate in the fuel and energy sector, investments, urban planning, trade. Their companies are active in the petroleum sphere.
