A rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) was held in Liberty Square of Yerevan on Friday, News.am reports.
First President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, head of People’s Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan, chairman of “Republic” party’s political council Aram Sargsyan and heads of other parties took part in the rally.
Opening the rally chairman of Armenian National Movement board Aram Manukyan said Armenia had entered an unprecedented tensed stage when the parliamentary elections would be a preparation stage for the presidential ones.
“There has never been such a necessity to change power,” he stressed. People’s task is to create Armenia to attract those who had left the country, he added.
