Erdoğan urges immediate action in Syria

The Turkish Prime Minister calls upon the international community to react to the Syrian bloodshed immediately, Hurriyet reports on Sunday.

The remarks came at the Friends of Syria meeting held in Istanbul.

"If the United Nations Security Council refrains from taking on the responsibility, the international community will have no choice but to accept the Syrians' right to self-defense," Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said as he opened the conference.
