Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, chaired by the co-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly "Euronest" Christian Vigenin, Trend reports.
The President expressed satisfaction with the visit of the PA delegation "Euronest" to Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev appreciated the holding of the first session of "Euronest" outside of Europe in Baku as a good indicator of partnership.
Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is interested in cooperating with the PA "Euronest" and expressed confidence that the discussions that will take place during the visit of the delegation to Azerbaijan will be fruitful in terms of enhanced cooperation.
Euronest is a parliamentary format of the EU Eastern Partnership.
