The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, has held a meeting with
representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora, News-Azerbaijan reports.
At the meeting the head of the region said that the Ingush and the
Azerbaijanis are representatives of ancient cultures and
traditions."Great opportunities are opening for the development of
Ingush-Azerbaijani relations, especially after the signing of the
Agreement on Cooperation in October 2011. I am not only talking about
workers who are employed in the construction of various national
facilities and engaged in trade, but also about favorable conditions
for investors from Azerbaijan, the development of cultural relations,
strengthening of the role of the Diaspora, " the head of
Ingushetia said.
An authorized representative of the All-Russian Congress of
Azerbaijanis in the North Caucasus Federal District, Amirkhanov
Shaheen, thanked the republic for the attention and support of the
Azerbaijani Diaspora.
The head of Ingushetia expressed his support for the excavations at the
burial site of Azerbaijanis who participated in the World War II in
late 1942 and early 1943 near the town of Malgobek.
