Yevgeny Primakov, former Russian Prime Minister and Academician, said that he does not believe in a schism of Shiites and Sunnis if Iran is attacked, Russia One reported on Sunday.
Primakov said that there is a belief in existence of the so-called “Shiite belt”, including Iraq, Iran, Syria and Libya. The official reckons that the “belt” causes concerns in Israel and Sunni states. But in case of a major war, a schism in the Arab world is unlikely.
