Georgia, Estonia to start military cooperation

Brigadier General Riho Terras, of Estonian Chief of Defenses, has discussed military cooperation with Georgia in Tbilisi, Georgia Online reports.

Terras met General Mayor Devi Chankotadze, Chief of Joint Staff of Georgia. They agreed to improve military training and education of Georgian military. They discussed peacekeeping operations, coordination of actions and Georgian military reforms.

The Estonian general started a seminar on national security in Gudauri.

Terras will meet Georgian Intelligence Chief Gela Bejuashvili and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defenses Givi Targamadze. He will visit the Krtsanisi Military Center and observe training of Georgian troops for the NATO mission in Afghanistan.
