Georgian Patriarch believes Georgians' conflict with Abkhaz and Ossetian peoples will be resolved

Georgian Patriarch Iliya II believes that Georgians' conflict with the Abkhaz and Ossetian peoples is based on misunderstanding and  will be resolved soon, News Georgia reports.

The remarks came from the Patriarch's meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

The Patriarch told the Bulgarian Prime Minister that Georgians have always had good relations with the Abkhaz and the Ossetian peoples. "I was once the Bishop of Abkhazia," the Patriarch said, "There were no ethnic conflicts in those days".
