Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Trend reports.
Lavrov emphasized that they discussed expansion of bilateral ties and noted satisfaction with strategic partnership.
Aliyev said that Azerbaijani-Russian ties are based on principles of good neighbours and have strategic nature. He noted importance of economic, political and humanitarian cooperation. Aliyev emphasized that political cooperation improved, trade turnover increased.
