Azerbaijan will determine the terms of lease of the Qabala radar according to its own interests, Ali Gasanov, head of the socio-political section of the Presidential Administration, said on Wednesday, Trend reports.
The Armenian vice premier said earlier that Azerbaijan and Russia will not a reach an agreement on the radar lease terms. Armenia offers its own territory for construction of a new radar.
Vladimir Yevseyev, Director of the Russian Center for Socio-Political Studies, told Vestnik Kavkaza that decisions will be made by the Azerbaijani side. If Azerbaijan continues insisting on reconsideration of prices for lease, Russia may use Armenia’s offer as an argument.
