Georgia will have no official contacts with German Ambassador Dieter Boden, former head of the OSCE and UN missions in Georgia, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said, Georgia Online reports.
Boden criticized Georgia’s initiative to settle conflicts, compared Georgia with the Third Reich and urges it to apologize the way Nazi Germany did.
Georgian media report that the German official continues making visits to Tbilisi and Sukhumi. Georgia does not forbid him to visit the country but will have no official contacts. Dieter Boden was to represent an international delegation to Georgia this week.
