The Azerbaijani Jewish administration of Baku has decided to give packages of free food to about 500 Jewish families of Baku for Passover of 5772, the Agency of Jewish News reports.
Milikh Yevdayev, Chairman of the Religious Community of Jews in Baku, said that the gifts include matzo for every family member, resembling the bread eaten by Jews on their way from Egypt, becoming the Hag a-matzo. Community members will also receive chicken, eggs, kosher juice and other products.
