Saakashvili found new model for reestablishing relations with Russia

President Saakashvili considers Russian-Georgian relations should be
established on the model of Chinese-Singaporean ones. "We have to
become a successful state, so everybody has to deal with us. Even our
enemies," president said at a meeting with parliamentarians, Georgia
Online reports.
The Georgian president also noted that Georgia has made progress in
this sphere, as Russian journalists already pay visits to Georgia to
research its successful democratic reforms and modernization. He also
said that the recent elections showed that Georgian people support
this direction.
