Alexander Tkachev: Kuban farmers will have to work hard

Due to the unstable spring weather Kuban farmers could lose up to a
third of the grape harvest, the governor of the region, Alexander
Tkachev, wrote on Twitter.

Due to abnormal frost in January and February 2011 in the Krasnodar
Territory, about 30 % of the winter crops were lost. About 540 ha of
fields were affected by changes in the weather, Yuga.ru reports.

The governor wrote on his Twitter account that the local farmers will
have to work hard to save the harvest.
