Annan arrives at Turkish-Syrian border

Kofi Annan, the special envoy of the UN and the Arab League, arrived in Turkey today, ITAR-TASS reports.

The international emissary will visit refugee camps on the border of Syria. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that there are over 25,000 Syrian refugees. The Syrian government is to cease-fire today, according to the deadline set by Annan’s plan.
