Armenian parliamentary session not yet convened

The Armenian National Assembly’s regular session on Wednesday was not held, since a quorum was not obtained at the parliament, News.am reports.

The necessary number of MPs for a quorum was not registered by noon, the parliament's press service informs.

According to the parliament's Rules of Procedure, members’ registration continued for three hours, during which time a quorum was not obtained once again.

And at 3 p.m. the parliament's Deputy Speaker, Eduard Sharmazanov, formally announced that the session was not convened.
