The Russian parliament has declined the request of A Fair Russia to dismiss Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, because the document had violations, Vice Speaker Ivan Melnikov (Communist Party) said on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports.
Nurgaliyev will make a report for the government hour on Friday.
Liberal democrats (LDPR) wanted resignation of Nurgaliyev for the outrageous police incidents as well. United Russia and The Communist Party do not plan to demand the minister’s resignation.
New talks on failures of the police reform started after another outrageous case of police crime. A man was tortured to death at the Dalny Police Department in Kazan. Five police officers were detained, Tatarstan Police Chief Asgat Safarov was dismissed. Some media made hasty conclusions that all fractions will insist in resignation of the Russian interior minister.
