Vice Premier Alexander Khloponin earned 484 million rubles in 2011, exceeding income of minister Yuri Trutnev 2.3-fold (211.6 million rubles) and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin (3.7 million rubles), as stated by the government website.
Khloponin has increased income 20-fold since 2010, when it was only 23.2 million rubles.
Other vice premiers earned a lot less last year. Vice Premier Igor Shuvalov earned 9.6 million rubles (compared with 14.7 million in 2010), Vice Premier Vladislav Surkov got 5 million (4.6 million in 2010), Vice Premier Dmitry Rogozin got 4.2 million, Vice Premier Victor Zubkov 3.8 million (5.9 million), Vice Premier Igor Sechin 3.09 million (4.3 million), Vice Premier Dmitry Kozak 3 million (3.8 million).
The website also shows wages of vice premiers’ wives. Igor Shuvalov’s wife Olga earned 364 million rubles in 2011, followed by Surkov’s wife who got 125.2 million rubles.
