Italy to issue €30 million for Georgia’s trade and investment projects

Italy has offered to issue €30 million for Georgian trade and investment projects, Trend cites the Georgian Trade and Industry Chamber on Friday.

President of the chamber Kakha Baindurashvili has had several meetings in Italy’s Vincenza. He organized a special presentation of Georgia’s economic potential, reforms, investment and business opportunities for the local businessmen.

Georgian Ambassador to Italy Constantine Gabashvili attended the meeting. Baindurashvili held talks with the Investment Agency of the Italian Finances Ministry.

Alitalia, an Italian air company, held a special presentation for Georgia. The sides agreed to open direct Rome-Tbilisi-Rome flights on July 2. Flights will be organized three times a week.
