Iran will have the first joint military drills of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in 2012, Iran News reports.
Iran will have 8 mass military drills in different regions for various types of forces this year, as stated by Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Purdastan, Commander of the Ground Forces of Iran.
The general added that the US plan to establish missile defenses in other states of the Gulf to achieve domination in the region by 2020. The project is not defensive, it targets Iran in reality, Purdastan insists.
