Taliban attacks embassies and NATO headquarters in Kabul

Several blasts took place in Afghanistan's capital Kabul, an anonimous Afghan official source told Trend Sunday.

One of the attacks was perpetrated by a suicide bomber against the US embassy. Also, the fighting between rebels and security forces is underway near the Russian consulate.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Afghan defence ministry, General Zaher Azimi confirmed to Trend that suicide attacks and explosions took place in Kabul, saying the accidents happened in diplomatic district.

He said that a fighting between militants and security forces is continuing, but he said that he has no information about the targets of the attacks.
