Georgia demands security guarantees during Caucasus-2012 drills

Russia plans to hold the Caucasus-2012 military drills. Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze has called it a threat to Georgian security and the region as a whole on Thursday, Georgia Online reports.

Vashadze emphasized that the issue has been discussed with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Brussels, where the NATO ministerial meeting is held. Vashadze demanded Russia to guarantee security.

Hillary Clinton will make a visit to Georgia in the near future.
