The police found two dead militants during a search of the Tsumadinsky District of Dagestan today, RIA Novosti reports.
The militants were most likely killed in a shootout with the police and servicemen at a forest near the Kvanada Village on Wednesday. A police officer died and two were injured in that fight.
The police also found two dug-out shelters. They contained a bomb, household goods, medicaments, food. The police destroyed the shelter.
Searches continue.
