Iran is concentrating forces on north-western border

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is concentrating forces on
the north-western border, Iranian TV channel ‘Press TV’ reported on
Wednesday.

The Brigadier General of the IRGC, Mehdi Moini, said that the forces
were mobilized due to the presence of US and Israeli forces on the
western border.

Moini said that western countries are trying to increase interethnic
conflict and destabilize the situation in the region, Interfax
reports.

The province of West Azerbaijan, where the forces are situated, has
borders with Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
