Chairman of the Russian Central Electoral Commission Vladimir Churov said that the ID of President Vladimir Putin is ready to be handed, RIA Novosti reports.
It will be handed before or during the inauguration ceremony of May 7.
Secretary of the CEC Nikolai Konkin said that the document is worth at least 100,000 rubles.
The Central Electoral Commission ordered composition of the document in May 2011. The will differ from the current presidential ID. The document President Dmitry Medvedev got was a small dark red book with the Russian symbol and an inscription “President of the Russian Federation”.
