Men found in a burning vehicle in Dagestan on Sunday had been killed in a shootout, RIA Novosti reports.
The three men were encountered on the 798th km of the Caucasus Highway near the Korkmaskala Village at 7 pm. They opened fire at police officers.
The police identified two of them as Guseynov born in 1986, Algasanov born in 1985, the third one is being identified. The police found two submachine guns and two Makarov pistols.
