Azerbaijani students evacuated from Kyrgyzstan

3 of 13 Azerbaijani students have been evacuated from the
Jalalabadskaya region of Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, the rest were flown to
Georgia, Trend reports, citing Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elkhan
Polukhov.


Students Guliayev Javid oglu living in Baku, Gasanov Mekhdikhan Ali
oglu living in the Tovuzskiy region and Kerimov Zeynaddin Nurali oglu
living in Gubinskiy region are currently in the Azerbaijani embassy in
Bishkek and will be taken to Azerbaijan.


Fights started between Kyrgyz and Uzbek people in the city of Osh,
south of Bishkek, on June 11th. The fights spread to the Jalalabad
region. The number of people killed reached 187 on June 16th. There
are 600 Azerbaijanis living in the Oshskaya and Jalalabadskaya
regions.
