The Emergency Ministry of North Ossetia warned about approaching
storms with heavy rain and winds, RIA Novosti reports, citing the head
of the ministry’s press-service, Yulia Starchenko.
North Ossetia saw heavy rains on June 6th, resulting in a landslide on
the Transcaucasian road connecting Russia and South Ossetia. 3000
hectares of farmland were ruined and roads, houses and bridges
damaged. The total cost of the damage has reached 1 billion rubles.
