Representative of Turkish government arrives in Kyrgyzstan

A special representative of the Turkish government, Fatih Jeylan,
arrived in Kyrgyzstan to study the situation in the country and develop
measures to help the republic. According to RIA Novosti, the
representative met the head of interim government of Kyrgyzstan,
Almazbek Atambayev.

There were interethnic fights between Kyrgyz and Uzbeks in the city of
Osh in the center of Jalal Abad region resulting in 187 people dead and
2000 wounded.
