Kazakhstan to scrap visa regime for 34 states

Kazakhstan plans to drop its visa requirements for 34 states, Minister for Industry and New Technologies Aset Isekeshev said, KAZINFORM reports.

Such measures are taken to develop tourism. Official statistics show that over 5.6 million tourists visited Kazakhstan in 2011, over 5.3 million of domestic tourists. Tourism brought an income of 74 billion tenge.
