US institutes to monitor Georgian elections

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs suggested that the US National Democracy Institute (NDI) and the International Republican Institute (IRI) should monitor the coming parliamentary elections in the country, Trend reports.

According to the statement by the ministry, Minister Grigol Vashadze sent letters to several other foreign institutions suggesting their participation in the international monitoring mission.
