The head of the Georgian National Security Council, Georgy Bokeria, and his Polish counterpart, Stanislaw Kozei, signed a plan on security cooperation in Tbilisi, News Georgia reports.
The sides will exchange information on security affairs and experience. They discussed aspects of cooperation in regional and international security.
The Polish official expressed regret over the death of Georgian Sergeant Balerian Khujadze in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province. Poland wants Georgia to join NATO and will promote Georgian membership at the Chicago summit.
The Polish delegation met Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya and Deputy Foreign Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze.
