Georgia interested in good relations with Russia - deputy FM

The Georgian deputy foreign minister says the country is interested in good relations with Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

Tornike Gorgadze, addressing participants of a conference held in Rome, said that Georgia is doing its best to maintain good relations with Russia.

He pointed out the fact that Georgia has recently cancelled its visa regime with Russia.

Unfortunately, the Russian authorities aren't ready for response gestures, the official said.
