Armenia will host the Second International Youth Forum Tsakhkadzor-2012 in August 2012, as stated by Andrey Smirnov, head of the organization committee of the International Forum “Role of public organizations in forming the Eurasian Union”, News Armenia reports.
Tsakhkadzor 2011 was held with the assistance of the Prosperous Armenia Party on August 20-30 with about 1200 participants from Armenia, CIS states and the Baltic states.
Smirnov said at a Yerevan-Moscow-Astana conference on Friday that they will focus on forming a common youth space of Eurasia this year. He noted that they will train young journalists.
The International Forum “Role of public organizations in forming the Eurasian Union” was participated in by MPs, representatives of public organizations and experts of the CIS and Baltic states in Armenia on April 27-28. The forum was to promote Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s idea of forming a Eurasian Union.
