Saakashvili tells pupils about weapons and dreams

Georgia started production of its own weapons after the war in August 2008, President Mikheil Saakashvili said at a meeting with the International Olympics of Pupils, RBC reports.

This includes artillery, aircraft, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons. The country had demonstrated its advanced technologies to other states.

Saakashvili said that he wishes to turn Georgia into a center for knowledge, development and unique technologies. Batumi in the western part of Georgia will soon open a US technological institute. Georgia is also negotiating the opening of a European technological center.
