A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mehmanparast, has emphasized that Iran is capable of countering any foreign aggression, Press TV reports.
He added that Iran’s opponents realize the fact and are reluctant to start a war. Mehmanparast said that sanctions against its nuclear programs are illegal and unjustified. They boosted the economy and perhaps the US and European states should be thanked for stimulating the economy. While economic growth rates in some western states is 0, Iran has a GDP growth rate of 6.2%.
