A meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will take place in Astana on May 3. The meeting will be chaired by the Defense Minister of Kazakhstan, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, RIA Novosti reports referring to an announcement published by the organization.
CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha will attend the upcoming meeting and will present a report there.
The Defence Ministers will discuss the purchase of modern special military equipment for the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO and the further development and improvement of the existing facilities, as well as military-technical and military-economic cooperation and improvement of military personnel training for the armed forces of the CSTO member states.
