Iran and Russia stress non-interference by foreign states in Syria

 

Iran and Russia have once again stressed the importance of resolving the crisis in Syria through national dialogue and non-interference by foreign states following the recent terrorist attacks in the country, Press TV reports.


Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Reza Sajjadi reiterated the necessity of implementing a peace plan proposed by UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on Saturday.
