China has successfully launched two satellites into space as part of the Beidou global navigation and positioning network, RIA-Novosti reports, quoting the Xinhua news agency.
It is the first time that China has launched two of its navigation satellites with one rocket.
“The two satellites will help improve the accuracy of the Beidou, or Compass system,” Xinhua quoted the space center of China.
