Another gang to be jailed in Dagestan

Three locals suspected of trafficking weapons and narcotics in Dagestan have been put on trial, RIA Novosti reports.

Magomed Seferaliyev, Magomed Mutalibov and Amakhan Amakhanov are accused of organizing an illegal armed formation, banditry and trafficking weapons. Seferaliyev is accused of illegal drug trafficking.

The three joined the gang of Magomed Suleimanov and Abdullah Nustapayev in 2011 to organize attacks on functionaries, law enforcers and take control of the administration in Dagestan in 2011.

They stored weapons and ammunition in a cache. Amakhanov was responsible for suppliers of weapons. He acquired explosives in July 2011. Seferaliyev was recruiting new members at the Suleiman-Stalsky and Magaramkentsky Districts, attacks on police officers and businessmen.
