Georgian Armenians may be taken to vote for Republican Party of Armenia

Llagir has reported today that ethnic Armenians living in Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakheti Region are actively being registered to vote in Armenia.

They are expected to be taken to Armenia on May 4-6 to vote for the ruling Republican Party. The Georgian citizens acquired Armenian passports illegally, because Georgia does not recognize dual citizenship.

Some Armenian electoral districts had people from Javakheti registered. 101 people from Georgia’s Narderan Village were registered in 11 districts.
