Two blasts at a police station in Makhachkala killed 13 and injured 109 people. 83 of them were hospitalized, 26 received medical aid at the spot, RIA Novosti reports.
21 of them are in grave condition, 47 in medium condition, 15 had light injuries. 19 vehicles, including a fire truck and 3 police cars, were damaged.
The first blast was equivalent to 30 kg of TNT, the second to 50 kg, a spokesman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee Nikolai Sintsov said.
The official explained that a man, probably a suicide bomber, was seen in a vehicle before the blast.
