Iran has started the second round of parliamentary polls at 8 am today, Trend reports.
It will continue until 6 pm. 130 candidates of 33 districts will take part. Only 65 of them will be elected.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was one of the first to vote.
Iran held the first round of parliamentary polls on March 2. Iran holds parliamentary polls once in four years. Voting for the parliament of the 8th calling took place on March 14, 2008. Ali Larijani became the speaker. The parliament has 290 members.
The first session of the new parliament is planned for May 27, 2012.
Iran has 48 million voters.
