The five hotels being constructed at Borjomi will provide workplaces for 500 people. One of them is the four-star hotel of Rooms Borjomi at the former city administration. Its construction started several months ago and will be completed in September, Georgia Online reports.
Construction supervisor David Kesareli said that initial plans were to build a two-star hotel. Silknet will provide fiber optic communications.
The old library will be replaced with a high-class restaurant, the second floor will have a conference hall. The hotel will have a swimming pool. About 120 people will work at the hotel, 70% of them are locals.
