The Armenian government has lost two ministers. As the ARMENIA Today news agency reports, citing reliable sources, the minister of Transportation and communications, Gurgen Sarkisyan, and the head of the emergency control ministry, Mger Shakhgeldyan, were ousted. Both are members of the Orinants Erkir party.
The new head of the emergency control ministry is predicted to be Armenia’s top police officer, Armen Eritsyan, while Sarkisyan’s post will most probably be taken up by presidential adviser Manuk Vardanyan, the former head of the state committee on land registration and real estate.
